As a Test Analyst, you will:
- Identify and prioritise and report defects, working with project team to understand and resolve software defects
- Deliver effective and efficient test cases using predefined templates and structures consistent with existing test methodologies and standards
- Collaborate closely with technical staff to establish the required infrastructure for effective and efficient testing of projects, releases, enhancements and fixes.
- Develop and implement test scripts to verify that new and changed functionality performs as expected
To be successful, you'll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields
- Knowledge of testing principles, methodologies and tools and change, configuration and release management, integration and regression testing, and executing test cases
- Experience providing services and support in software and infrastructure environments in a large organisation, including web, database, networking, desktops and systems
- Experience working in Agile Scrum or with Agile methodology
- Experience with testing tools, Agile Lifecycle Management Tools and ITIL concepts and practices
