Position Descriptor:

This position will be teaching English and EALD. Applicants must have experience successfully teaching English and EALD.

  • All staff are expected to deliver 21st Century teaching and learning in all classes in particular to: use learning technologies including DayMap, Google and online Virtual Learning Environments (VLE's) to personalise learning and enrich the delivery of face to face curriculum; develop 21st Century skills; use explicit strategies to check for understanding; undertake relevant professional learning to support EALD students to succeed; seek student feedback and fine tune their teaching based on this feedback; incorporate intellectual stretch into all assessment tasks; deliver challenging curriculum to IGNITE students; and to participate in the cocurricular program and the extended school day.
  • Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
