WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an analytical thinker who is ready to kick start their career within distribution at Nike. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON?


Your role will focus on end-to-end (E2E) operations, with a keen eye towards supply, Distribution Center (DC) capacity planning and operational workflows with our third-party logistics (3PL).

This role supports the Integrated Fulfillment Planning (IFP) of inventory managed across the supply chain from origin consolidators to final mile delivery.

In this role, it is critical to understand inventory capacity in all nodes of the supply chain to meet customer demands.

You will also monitor, analyze, and improve the E2E planning process, ensuring an optimal flow of goods for the marketplace.

In this role, it is important to balance between marketplace demands, inventory capacity, costs, and sustainability.


With an analytical mindset, you will have the ability to interpret data, and tell the story in order to support business decisions.

This includes anticipating risks that will have an impact on the supply chain network. You will make recommendations and implement process changes that will support the business plans and strategic goals. You will also be accountable to support, and drive IFP discussions within the Logistics Planning network.


You will drive the integration of territory plans and translate it to country shipment plans with the support of Logistic Planning network, track and monitor key metrics such as territory seasonal and monthly supply, own and drive measurable insights and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.

You will also connect analytics and the business into the E2E planning and influencing business results (e.g., optimize shipping plans vs. distribution capacity and constraints), produce and develop monthly and weekly operational E2E fulfillment forecasts and reports and support the IFP Leads in Network Readiness and Operational Execution.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?


This role has a wide breadth of touch points cross-functionally which will provide you the opportunity to network and gain exposure across the business.

You will link in closely with our global partners, in order to support reporting around performance and cost, as well as driving best practice through shared learnings.

Reporting to the IFP Manager, this role will work cross-functionally with various stakeholders in Marketplace Operations (MPO), DC Operations, Transportation and 3PL teams, rolling a cross-functional alignment to keep a continuous flow in our processes, in order to serve our consumer with three drivers: cost, revenue and service.


WHAT YOU BRING

  • Knowledge of E2E supply chain, inbound planning and execution, and efficiencies through 3PL / partners management and outbound distribution.
  • Strong analytical skills including cost modelling, performance management and financial review.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to manage and build stakeholder relationships and communicate assertively with internal and external teams across all levels.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP and COGNOS isbeneficial, but not essential.

Note:
This role involves frequent travel to the DC at Ravenhall.
