About the role


This is a permanent full time opportunity and can be based in our St Kilda Road VIC or North Ryde NSW offices, with hybrid working available.


This role is responsible for the production of all Termination payments including, but not limited to leave cash outs, LSL reconciliations, Redundancies, Deed of releases and final payments.


The role requires strong payroll process and legislative knowledge with an ability to communicate objectively with payroll staff and management.


A key part of this role will be finding and reporting on issues and developing a cadence with regards to raising them with Payroll Compliance Terminations Lead.


The role whist initially may focus on one payroll will be required to work across both SAP and Express HR within due course.


What you'll bring

  • End to end payroll experience
  • SAP & Express HR system experience preferred
  • Specific experience in processing large scale termination Payments
  • End to end Payroll experience essential including LSL calculations, Redundancy and Terminations
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of all payroll processes
- demonstrated understanding of leave accruals/ entitlements, terminations including redundancies, long service leave and WorkCover legislation, superannuation and PAYG
- demonstrated understanding of Employment Termination Payments (ETPs) including Tax and reporting requirements of ETPs
- demonstrated understanding of how an employee's age effects their termination payments i.e. APQ/Preservation Age
