Due to growth, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Payroll Manager to join their dynamic team on a full-time and permanent basis.

Experienced Senior Payroll Officers who are looking for the next step in their career, are also encouraged to apply. This role has the option to be fully remote, however some travel to the Sunshine Coast will be required.


About the role:


  • Management of the endtoend Payroll function
  • Processing of the fortnightly payroll (across separate entities)
  • Preparation for payroll allocation journals
  • Development and implementation of new system
  • Interpretation of Modern Awards and Agreements
  • Monthly payroll compliance reporting
  • Resolving internal and external payroll queries
  • Continuous improvement for processes and systems
  • Assisting with other ad hoc tasks and projects within the scope of the role.

About you:

To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience in the position accountabilities
  • Strong with systems and implementation experience
  • Experience with Netsuite is highly advantageous
  • Exceptional eye for detail, time management, and working to deadlines
  • You must be a strong problem solver with a "cando" attitude
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
