As a Payroll Officer, you will take charge of the end-to-end payroll function.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executing fullfunction endtoend payroll processes
  • Interpreting awards accurately
  • Processing weekly timesheets
  • Calculating termination and redundancy payouts
  • Reconciling payroll tax and PAYG obligations and preparing reports
  • Maintaining payroll and time and attendance data
  • Handling new starters and terminations efficiently
  • Addressing payroll queries with professionalism
  • Managing superannuation, leave, and entitlements
  • Generating ad hoc payroll reports and conducting data analysis

Requirements:


  • Preferred 3 years or more of payroll experience
  • Experience within the construction/manufacturing industry advantageous
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficiency in interpreting timesheets and accurately calculating overtime
  • Familiarity with DataPay/Frontier
