About the Opportunity

The Content and Creative Manager is responsible for leading the production of creative content for State Library Victoria, ensuring it aligns with the brand and the brand voice and adheres to the highest standards of communication.

The role is also responsible for developing and delivering the strategic plan for content across the Library's owned and earned channels, with particular focus on digital, social and media channels.

About You


In addition, you will come to us with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in digital media/technology, communications, journalism, publishing or similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with a solid track record of leading and motivating staff to deliver quality operational outputs.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering content strategy and strategic communications and planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management in a similar, complex environment.
  • Experience in collaborative and innovative ways of working and leading a cross functional creative department or similar highly desirable.
  • Experience in media relations desirable.
