Growing and successful national law firm

  • Fulltime or Parttime (9day fortnight), 2 days/week WFH

  • Opportunity for a HR Coordinator to step up and be mentored


Are you a HR enthusiast with a passion for the legal/professional services environment? Our client is a growing and award-winning national law firm who are known for their collaborative, friendly and supportive work environment.


This is a unique opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator to step up to a People & Culture Advisor role within a supportive team, where you will be mentored.


Reporting to the Head of HR, in this hands on role you will work alongside another People & Culture Advisor to provide generalist HR support for their dedicated client groups.


To be successful in this role you will be able to build effective and strong working relationships and provide meticulous HR administrative, compliance and reporting support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine resourcing needs and manage the internal and external recruitment process, including the clerkship and Graduate programs
  • Facilitate the successful onboarding of new employees including inductions and regular checkins with new starters
  • Proactively manage and participate in effective endtoend recruitment, onboarding, inductions, exit interviews, recognition, awards, etc.
  • Coordinate, advise and assist all employees with probation reviews, performance reviews, remuneration reviews, and adhoc check ins
  • Coordinate a new learning and development program
  • Advise and assist leaders and employees to resolve employee grievances, disputes and underperformance
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures

Skills and Experience

  • 35 years HR experience in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised
  • Personable, empathic and natural ability to develop strong professional relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about providing an exceptional employee experience and positive business outcome
  • Intermediate Excel skills
