Libraries ACT are on the lookout for a Communications and Engagement Officer who has great leadership qualities and a passion for delivering strategic and targeted communications to the community.


Come and join a team of passionate and creative professionals who develop and deliver engaging programs, events and projects for Libraries ACT.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic communications and engagement expert who can develop and deliver strategic communications targeted to a broad range of groups within the community.


You will work collaboratively with the Outreach team, Programs and Events team, Executive team and Library Branches to deliver effective and engaging communications.

You will work on challenging projects that will help shape the future of libraries. Your work will make an immediate and impactful contribution to the Canberra community.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for six months. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. This position is based in workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. The opportunity to work from home exist as operational needs allow.
