The Gig


We are looking for a cluster Revenue Manager who can engage, guide and inspire with a hands on and collaborative approach to facilitate and drive revenue generation strategies across two Melbourne properties.


Based in Sydney and or in Melbourne, this role is a pivotal part of the Australian revenue team and will have a significant impact on Ovolo's future growth and expansion.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Effective management of inventory, pricing, and yield strategies
  • Communicate revenue management across all levels, liaising closely GMs to implement agreed pricing strategies and ensuring engagement from front office and reservations team
  • Drive market share and develop overall pricing strategy across all market segments and distribution channels
  • Implement and utilise statistical reports in order to analyse pickup patterns, lead times and business trends
  • Analyse the performance of the Melbourne hotels and knowledge of market and competitor behaviours
  • Ensure all distribution channels are optimised and maintain strong account relationships with OTA's

About You

  • A 'gogetter' who is driven by a sense of achievement and energised by a fastpaced and dynamic setting
  • Super sharp with the ability to identify trends and set strategies that achieve breakthrough budgets and results
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a hotel revenue management role with a solid understanding of reservations and rate distribution including OTA's, Web Booking Engine and GDS/IDS channels
  • Possess outstanding communication skills, verbal and written
  • Have problem solving, strategy setting and analytical skills
  • Display impeccable attention to detail and competence in report management, report development & writing and revenue commentaries
  • Able to impart revenue management knowledge, skills and understanding across all levels of our Teams
