A leading international construction contractor is seeking a talented Training Manager to join their Brisbane head office team.

They have operations spanning Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea and deliver high-quality projects across various sectors, including rail, roads, defence, tunnelling and building.


About the role

This role of Training Manager reports to the Human Resources Manager and is responsible for developing the training strategy across multiple regions and various projects.


Specific duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, implement, and assess comprehensive learning & development programs and training plans.
  • Ensure alignment with the Qld Government Building and Construction Training Policy, actively monitoring and overseeing training outcomes.
  • Efficiently coordinate and manage all training activities.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on training activities and compliance rates.
  • Contributing to tenders through the provision of accurate and trainingrelated information

What are we looking for?

  • A proven track record of success in a similar role is required.
  • Experience within the construction or resources industry will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for developing training & development strategies across all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in working with Learning Management Systems
