Description

The position of Servcei Delivary Manager with EIH Care, will provide operational leadership and management in the provision of all SIL services achieving inclusive outcomes for individuals and families accessing our disability service.

The position primarily is also responsible for the recruitment of new SIL Participants and procuring new SIL properties and the ongoing relationship building within the NDIS sector and nurturing strong community ties.


Main tasks of the role

  • Overall leadership and management of our SIL program to maximise community inclusion and personal autonomy for service users and strengthen resilience of families to maintain their caring roles
  • Business Development in the ongoing recruitment and retention of SIL Participants
  • Finding new SIL homes/properties for our Participants
  • Lead behaviour support practice and implementation of plans at the SIL property
  • Supervising Support staff and services to provide positive support to Participants
  • Maintain and build relationships with existing Participants and key referrers such as, Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Allied Health Professionals and the like
  • Responsibility for the SIL Participant onboarding process
  • Supporting Participants, their families and carers to understand and access the business' services and policies
  • Being the 'face' of the business and building our companies brand awareness
  • Nurturing a network of connections across the disability and community care sector
  • Attendance at Expos, Forums, Open days and Networking events to actively promote our SIL services

About you

  • Have an understanding of legislative, contractual and internal policy, practice and reporting requirements in the NDIS sector

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Social Work, Disability Services, Community Services Coordination, Frontline Management or equivalent
  • Updated Manual Handling Certificate
  • Current Police Clearance
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Workers Screening
  • Awareness of NDIS policies and procedures
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate

Experience

  • Service management experience
  • Minimum 5 years NDIS experience
  • In home and Community Participation coordination experience
  • Excellent Rostering and time management
  • Essential social and emotional intelligence and ability to mentor and manger frontline staff and capacity to mentor, train and build teams
  • To go above and beyond with quality services
  • Essential stakeholder relationships and communication skills
  • ROC, Restrictive Practice and high medical needs
  • STA, MTA and SIL Experience

Salary:
$80, $100,000.00 per year
