The Role
We currently have an exsiting opportunity to join our team as an Operational Assurance Specialist.

You will be an integral part of the Business Enablement team and be responsible for supporting the Partners & Platforms teams with providing assurance on business activity ensuring appropriate engagement with relevant central function and appropriate considerations and safeguards are implemented and embedded to deliver increased efficiency and meet regulatory and compliance obligations.


The role is responsible for owning and resolving systemic issues across the business and co-ordinating the remediation activity, deep diving processes and practices and drive a continuous improvement focus across Partners & Platforms to meet business requirements, legal and regulatory obligations and customer and community expectations.


To be successful in this role you must be able to establish strong and trusting relationships with stakeholders and leverages those relationships to generate insights and optimise practices and outcomes.


What you'll be doing- Supports the P&P Business by providing the operational assurance and continuous improvement by driving outcomes that are aligned with the IIA Strategy- Business owner of systemic risk events and issues working to resolve, fix and embed timely and fit for purpose solutions to mitigate future occurrences.- Undertake operational assurance reviews across systems and processes and assurance frameworks- Ensure compliance adherence- Undertake business risk assessments & reporting for key business initiatives impacting partner- Ensure systems and processes are aligned to new regulatory obligations- Participate in program monitoring and ensure greater visibility over partnerships/authorised representatives to enable risk-based decisions- Support the continued Operational Assurance function across P&P through the development of innovative, simple, and fit for purpose concepts and tools- Create innovative ways to transfer knowledge on incident management across the P&P team- Connect and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across P&P and the broader IAG business to learn and share- Be an active member of the risk champion network for P&P


About you

  • Highly organised, with high attention to detail and forward planning
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Process improvement or continuous improvement experience
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Sound data gathering and analysis
