YHA Sydney Harbour is currently seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to join the team on a

part-time basis. The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for ensuring the Café runs smoothly by assisting wherever required. Café All Rounders interact with people regularly, so a friendly positive attitude, and strong customer service skills are paramount.

Day-to-day duties include:

Preparing/serving of coffee, food and drinks including taking orders.
Operating a pointofsale terminal and EFTPOS machine plus cash handling.
Café cleaning duties including cleaning coffee machines and equipment.
Refilling drink fridges and snacks.
Maintaining service area to food safety standards
Support of the Café Team with a "can do" attitude

What we are looking for:

Demonstrated experience as a barista within a fast paced, premium establishment (min 2 years)
High volume experience being able to work on multiple orders at once
Excellent time management skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Good at cash handling and multitasking in general
Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification
Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the daytoday operations
Excellent attention to detail & ability to follow instructions
Exceptional presentation and grooming
Flexible availability 24/7 roster including weekends and public holidays
