Strategic Initiatives Project Officer

School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades, and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school.

This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW; we now have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join the Office of the Chief Executive.


About the role

Undertake strategic workforce projects for key stakeholders that include preparing organisation charts for realignments and providing and interpreting workforce reports from the human capital database.

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities within tight timeframes
  • Knowledge of Visio
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience in using Power BI and working with large datasets.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
