Specialist, Finance Risk

YOUR ROLE

ABOUT YOU- You'll have excellent strategic thinking skills with an ability to identify problems; research, consider and synthesise many pieces of information; coordinate the design of options/solutions.- You have experience in risk management and embedding cultural change.- You'll have strong Stakeholder and Communication management skills with the ability to influence.- 5+ years of Financial Services experience- Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, accounting, economics, engineering, technology or other similar degree- Qualification in risk, compliance management, corporate governance, auditing- You'll contribute to the embedment of IAG's Policies & Frameworks within Business Units and monitor to ensure ongoing adherence to policy requirements and effective risk management to meet IAG's Risk Appetite.- You will support Finance teams through uplifting risk awareness by enhancing their knowledge of risk management requirements, ensuring risks are appropriately considered and managed to meet targets.- You'll provide specialist risk advice and support on key Business Unit strategic initiatives and projects ensuring risks are identified and managed in accordance with the Risk in Change methodology.- Support the implementation of effective and efficient risk planning, coordination, and operation of Finance risk forums, embedding risk processes and plans, maintaining risk profiles, event & issue management, risk reporting and delivery of risk improvement initiatives across Finance to drive 1st line operational risk accountability and uplift Finance's risk maturity.- Support Line 1 control testing, and work with Line 1 and Line 2 Risk to improve the effectiveness of risk controls including a focus on implementing Process Level Controls progressing Controls towards Integrated.- Support the build of risk governance frameworks/routines to monitor and report to the Finance Leadership Team
