Our National client are the largest glass processors in Australia and are leaders in their industry. They provide opportunities for career development in a dynamic work environment.

They are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Maintenance Supervisor based in NSW looking after a team of 8 employees.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible to assist with the management of the day to day workload for the Maintenance team to ensure an effective and efficient service is delivered and targets are achieved by driving a culture of continuous improvement within the team of Technicians.

Key responsibilities:

Maintain and repair machinery and equipment.
Perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment
Perform scheduled planned preventive maintenance in accordance to minimized unplanned downtime.
Document breakdowns identifying root cause and remedial action to help identify and resolve recurring issues
Understand and work in accordance with mandatory requirements of Health and Safety and Environmental requirements
Undertake continuous training and development of your team

To be successful:

Must have previous experience in a high volume, automated processing environment
