The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Senior Business Analyst, ideally with a background in the life to join our client on a 12-month labour-hire basis.

This role will be pivotal in the procurement and implementation of a Laboratory Management System (LIMS) and will involve analysing current business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.

The role involves travel Australia wide for a few days every month or two to attend national strategic meetings.

The RoleAs the Senior Business Analyst, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Analyse current laboratory business processes and data flows, leveraging biological sciences expertise to identify improvement opportunities
Define and document business requirements and specifications for the LIMS implementation project using modern elicitation techniques
Collaborate with LIMS vendor, IT team, and laboratory staff to design, configure, test, and deploy a tailored LIMS solution
Support user acceptance testing, preparing test cases and documenting outcomes
Train end-users and provide ongoing support during and after LIMS implementation; monitor system performance and suggest enhancements
The Ideal PersonThe ideal person for this role will have:5+ years' experience as a business analyst or consultant in life sciences
Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, biotechnology, or related field
Proficiency in LIMS implementation, configuration, and validation
Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, data standards, and regulatory requirements
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
