A rare opportunity exists for a Technical Specialist to join our National Liability Claims team.
Responsible for providing technical support and strategic guidance, you will work closely with the management team to ensure excellence is achieved in our claims management practice.
We are seeking those with a proactive approach to their work, with the ability to challenge the status quo and step outside the box.
You'll be responsible for:
- Working closely with the Management team to actively support open and transparent communication, maintaining a high level of performance and engagement
- Providing coaching and mentoring within the team to promote development and assist with key decisions in the claims management process, including developing strategies and challenging ways of thinking and reasoning.
- Effectively managing the Quality Assurance framework to drive technical excellence
- Effectively managing customer and stakeholder queries and escalations to an efficient resolution
- Including regular interaction with key broker relationships and development of content to highlight initiatives and share results
- Identifying and delivering simplification initiatives to drive continuous improvement of the portfolio
- Monitoring service provider performance to ensure compliance with SLA's, strategic progression of claims and minimising overall spend and reliance
Important to your success:
- Technical and professional knowledge and experience, preferably in major and contentious liability and professional indemnity claims
- Ability to critically analyse, problem solve and think strategically to generate and implement solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with and influence different personalities
- Quality orientation and attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and work autonomously
- Familiarity with working in a highly collaborative environment with a strong focus on customer centricity and driving continuous improvement
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing demands
