About the Role:
Bookkeeper & Finance Analyst

Joining a close knit team, you will collaborate closely with your job share partner to effectively manage the company's Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, reconcile balance sheets, and oversee payments.

This is a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and driving financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with your job share partner to ensure seamless management of the company's P&L statements, balance sheets, and payment processes.
Reconcile financial accounts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Monitor and analyze financial data, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems and processes.

About You:

Number one on our client's wish list (next to the technical skillset) is a real get up and GO attitude - they are looking for a real "DOER" (or two actually).

Let's look at some of the key requirements that you'll need to showcase to get to the interview stage:

3-4 years experience as a bookkeeper or assistant accountant

- the ability to balance a P&L and reconcile accounts
- ideally you've been hands on with Xero

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Experience in analysing financial data, using Power BI for analytics and reporting
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly in a job share arrangement.

- $80k + super pro-rata
