With a view to further develop an agile, engaged, innovative and sustainable business, they are now seeking an experienced General Manager, People to join the executive leadership team to develop and deliver organisational development strategies that enable the business to be the best it can be.

This position will see you provide values-based, inspirational leadership, helping to achieve the organisation's vision through driving a high-performance culture.


What you'll love about the role:

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the development and execution of people and culture strategies, as well as oversee a small team of HR professionals across talent acquisition, learning and development, volunteer coordination, and HR Advisory services.

This position will focus on transforming the current HR function to provide a more business aligned, and customer focussed service, positioned to drive the organisation's people strategy for the future.


The development of strategic, integrated and fit for purpose HR frameworks and initiatives across culture and engagement, organisational and leadership development, workforce planning, employee / industrial relations, performance management, change management, remuneration, as well as the use of data to inform decisions for the future state, will be key deliverables within this role.

You will act as a key advisor to the Executive leadership team, as well as provide strong coaching and guidance to your team, ensuring their continuous development and alignment with the journey of the People and Culture function.


About you:


Professional qualifications will be complemented by exceptional personal drive, a high level of resilience, personal integrity, and commitment to deliver.

You will have significant experience in leading the culture and engagement agenda across a geographically dispersed business.

With significant HR leadership experience, you will be a true HR generalist, but with extensive experience across organisational capability and culture.


You are open to and adept at working at both strategic levels and rolling your sleeves up to do what is required to ensure you and your teams actions translate into delivery.

You will align with the organisation's values and role model integrity and collaboration.

Above all else, you will play a critical role in engaging the workforce, and your style will foster a culture of authenticity, genuine care and allow you to influence and connect with employees at all levels.
