Examples of these projects include

  • Western Sydney Aerotropolis
  • Greater Penrith to Eastern Creek
  • Marsden Park North & West Schofields Rezoning Strategy

This opportunity will resonate with those who are ready to join a firm where you will have a greater amount of autonomy in your day-to-day role, plus a genuine say and opportunity to guide the businesses strategic growth. Additionally, you are someone who possesses strong leadership skills, who can provide guidance and is able to create a vision for their team and motivate them to perform at their best.***- A comprehensive experience and a broad understanding in urban development, from the early planning stages to timelines and how investment is prioritised to maximise the benefit for the impacted communities.

  • The ability to be adaptable and flexible when approaching projects and when working as a team. When working with IDC you will be given the opportunity for new experiences and the exposure into new areas of work, allowing you to continually develop new skills. This is not a role where you will be doing the same things year in, year out.
  • The ability to work with and nurture more junior team members to help them advance their capabilities and progress their career within the company.

What skills are less relevant
Project Management is a broad brush term. This role is to project manage urban developments in the development phase. This means core it is less about PM skills like Primavera and P6. The work is also largely civil engineering orientated so is less about urban design/planning and architecture.
