Your new role:


As the Project Practitioner - System Integrated Product Team you will be a part of the Project Management team supporting cost and schedule goals associated with assigned projects.

Your skills will support complex analysis of performance data across the program, identifying insights to support decision makers in determining appropriate courses of action.

Working in JORN you are contribute to a major upgrade of one of Australia's unique surveillance capabilities. This upgrade directly supports the Australian Defence Force in protecting Australia's northern and western approaches.


In more specific terms you will:

  • Report into the JORN Phase 6 System's Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead
  • Ensure objectives are achieved in accordance with the contractual and company requirements in order to deliver required performance.
  • Support the Systems IPT CAM in achieving cost and schedule goals
  • Guide, mentor and assist the Work Package Managers, ensuring robust definition, forecasts and progress tracking is established. Managing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), resource management, and raising of Baseline Change Requests (BCRs).
  • Work closely with Project Controls Analyst to develop monthly CAM reports including summarised progress, schedule, Earned Value Management (EVM) and EAC (Estimated Actual Completion) updates.
  • Lead System Risk and Opportunity reviews, through strategic and rolling wave planning actively seek opportunities to burn down risks, and embrace project opportunities.
  • Input to System Project Performance Reviews (PPRs), Contract Status Reports (CSRs), and other internal and external reporting, metrics, and workshops.
  • Lead System's IPT Rolling wave planning and Deputise for the System Team Lead as required.

Clearances:


As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
