What the role is all about


As Media and Partnerships Manager, your role is to create and execute our media strategy, while forging deep relationships and valuable partnerships across the Australian media landscape.

Your team will lead all media outreach and engagement for PropTrack reports, analysis and bespoke data pitches.

Your team will also be the entry point for all expert and data media requests into the business and will work with our economists and analysts to coordinate a timely and comprehensive response.

In addition to PropTrack, this role will work with marketing/comms teams across REA's brands and business units to drive success in the media.


Relationships are at the heart of this role, and as Media and Partnerships Manager growing and maintaining strong relationships with all major newsrooms around the country will be key.

As Media and Partnerships Manger, you will be someone who:

  • Is comfortable operating in a fastpaced environment, navigating multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Is a strategic thinker, who can plan for the future while delivering on the now.
  • Is a natural storyteller, with an ability to turn complex concepts into simple and engaging narratives.
  • Is a crafty storyseller, with an ability to create hooks designed for media.
  • Is a leader, manager and mentor who invests in the growth of their team and peers.
  • An advocate for PropTrack as well as the broader REA Group business.
  • Is a relationshipbuilder, investing time in both people and projects.
  • Has a growth mindset and is committed to perennial learning and development.
  • Has a background in marketing extensive experience working in media relations and PR.
