About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking for a

Graduate Continuous Improvement Analyst to join our Continuous Improvement team at Daimler Trucks Perth. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to make tangible impact on the business, working hands-on with frontline teams and leadership while developing your analytical skills.


The purpose of this position is to support and assist the National Continuous Improvement Manager in identifying opportunities and developing strategies for improvement within our service workshops, parts warehouses and sales processes.


This role will also support national Business/Continuous Improvement (BI/CI) activities and Elite support activities such developing metrics, standardised processes, and best practice ways of working for the group.


Key aspects of this role include (but not limited to):

  • Support activities required to achieve and maintain Elite Support certification
  • Providing datadriven recommendations and solutions to improve customer experience, financial performance, workshop, and warehouse efficiencies with the assistance of the National Continuous Improvement Manager
  • Assist with diagnosing current state operations using data analysis and reallife observations to quantify improvement potential and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with designing and implementing process improvements in our workshops and warehouses for frontline teams
  • Assist with measuring and tracking implementation by quantifying value delivered, and sharing key lessons learned across the network
  • Assist with developing a positive culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborating information from internal stakeholders to facilitate ideation, requirement gathering, design and delivery of initiatives
  • Assist with developing and managing prioritised business improvement initiative pipelines to maximise business outcomes
  • Assist with training and coaching teams to develop BI/CI knowledge and skills in the organisation
  • A degree qualification in either Commerce, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
  • Proficient user of MS PowerPoint and Excel to run data analysis, create presentations and document processes
  • Welldeveloped written and communication skills
  • Collaborative approach to working with others with problem solving skills
  • The ability to take initiative in planning, prioritising, managing multiple tasks, and demonstrating flexibility
