Job description:
- Prepare forecasts, cost trend reports, and budgets to control project costs
- Report on deviations, underruns and overruns, and can make recommendations for corrective action
- Preparation and generating invoices and submitting to client
- Partner closely with internal teams including Supply Chain to monitor and report financial and nonfinancial KPI's to assist with decision making
- Assists in looking at opportunities to reduce operating costs and improve financial performance; such as working capital, controllable expenses and project costs.
- Ensure all internal and external compliance and process regulations are adhered to
- Preparation of working capital and free cash flow reporting
- Ensure all internal and external compliance and process regulations are adhered to
- Assist in Setting up the baseline cost control system (internal and external) and documentation for the projects including order and settlements
- Assist in preparation of Monthly contract asset and liability reconciliations and reports
- Assist in preparation of monthly intercompany confirmations
- Assist in the preparation of month end closing schedules, FRS and HFM (Hyperion Oracle)
- Provides support for internal and external audits on various tasks
- Assistance in Freight and inventory management
- Preparation and presentation of Project Management Reports and meeting with project manager and stakeholders
You are meant for this job if:
- Preferred qualifications
- Year 12 or equivalent
- At least 2+ years experience of experience in commercial accounting rolls.
- Familiar with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS and AASB)
- SAP ERP system knowledge preferred
- Moderate excel skills. Team oriented.
