Our

Federal Government client is seeking experienced case managers and leaders to join the

Administrative Appeals Branch in their fantastically located Richmond office.


About the Role
The

APS6 Case Management will be responsible for the setting of priorities and managing workflows of the case management team in relation to the

Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

The

APS6 Case Management will also provide support to the management of the team, provide strategic direction, delivering on the operational requirements to team members.


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the team workload to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of Receipt, Triage and Tribunal Documents functions.
  • Supervising and contributing to the quality checking of outputs in Triage, Tribunal Documents, Specialist Assessment and other areas relevant to Case Management Support.
  • Providing leadership and overseeing the organisation of specialist assessments where required.
  • Providing complex technical advice including obtaining advice from within and outside the AAB where required.
  • Overseeing the preparation and updating of AAB guidance material and operating procedures that impact the endtoend to case management process.
  • Ensuring the filing of Tribunal documents occurs in good order and within statutory timeframes, requests from case management for specialist assessment are facilitated and other activities to support case management in its business functions, are efficiently and effectively carried out.

Key Skills required for the role:

  • Excellent administrative experience and practice within a high-volume working environment
  • Previous experience within case management or similar role
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver outcomes and manage workloads to meet timeframes
  • Demonstrate the ability to make sound judgements and develop options to solve problems
  • Ability to prepare documents, such as those that explain a position under legislation
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly and effectively
