Job Description:

SGS has a great opportunity for a Industrial Hygienist to join the team in Perth.

Duties include however not limited to:

Undertaking field observations and occupational hygiene assessments
Conduct Hazardous material inspections
Conduct Indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring
Preparation of technical reports and hazardous management plans
Provide governance in health and hygiene related incidents and IH monitoring results exceedances investigations, manage their records and provide the necessary recommendations/actions (Engineering and Administrative controls, PPE management) to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
Monitor the progress on the implementation of the required controls by managing the related NCRs raised in the SGS Incident Management Software (Crystal).
Maintain the Global Industrial Hygiene software (ProcessMap).

Qualifications:

Full Member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists or;
A tertiary degree in chemistry or engineering and provisional AIOH membership or;
An equivalent competency under an international certification scheme (for example
Certified Industrial Hygienist).
Completion of the AIOH Basic Principles of Occupational Hygiene course or equivalent.
National Police Clearance.
Full Australian Driving Licence
