The Regional Manager's primary purpose is to lead strategy development in Western Australia, South Australia, and Northern Territory region by execution and the delivery of quality Independent Medical Legal services within their Region, in alignment with the broader MedHealth and Specialist Services Group strategic objectives.

This role will be based in Perth.


Job Description:


  • Lead Region through motivating, managing and mentoring team members prioritising health, wellbeing, and safety to drive high performance and achieve budgeted results.
  • Build and maintain the necessary resources, technical expertise, capability, and capacity for Region to ensure high quality delivery of services to Customers with the highest of professional standards.
  • As a member of the mlcoa leadership team ensure that MedHealth and mlcoa policies, processes, practices and executive decisions support health, wellbeing, and safety of staff.
  • Shape the direction of mlcoa and prepare the business for the future.
  • Collaborate with MedHealth and mlcoa colleagues to achieve support for quality service delivery, innovation and growth.
  • Model MedHealth and mlcoa values and use them to guide strategic direction setting and decision making.
  • Provide strategic advice to Executive General Manager mlcoa on Regional strategy considerations including industry developments.
  • Represent mlcoa in Region on relevant industry and Government boards and committees.
  • Manage allocated budget and resources within set parameters.
  • Lead service delivery of Region balancing achievement of budget with sustainable growth.
  • Ensure high quality service delivery for Customer, Client, Consultant outcomes across Region.
  • Lead the attraction, retention, engagement and experience of Region's Consultants.
  • Ensure a contemporary and effective service delivery and operating model for Region that is consistent with National operating models and is driven by Customer, Client and Consultant experience.
  • Understand and manage the Customer satisfaction and evaluation processes for all aspects of Region.
  • Manage the resolution of complaint and compliance issues
  • Ensure governance excellence and full legal compliance in the delivery of quality service.
  • Develop and implement Regional strategy to meet sustainable growth objectives of mlcoa and Region.
  • Develop and lead high level Customer relationships.
  • Through innovation look to enhance operations and service delivery.
  • Through collaboration with key stakeholders and National consistency develop and implement mlcoa operational excellence and business development and growth projects in Region.
  • Develop relationships and seek opportunities to influence relevant industry and Government representatives to further the purpose of mlcoa objectives in Region.
  • Develop and lead corporate partnerships and provider relationships with key internal MedHealth businesses and external partners and providers.

Qualifications:


  • Senior / executive leader with experience leading teams within a related medical / industry portfolio with responsibility for commercial and operational delivery functions.
  • Proven record of strategy execution which delivers on budgeted performance expectations and sustainable growth.
  • Experience in driving results in a values and purpose driven environment.
  • Relevant tertiary or post graduate clinical and or management qualification highly desirable.
  • Specific Knowledge and Skills
  • Commercial strategy, strategic foresight, and demonstrable growth skills.
  • Exceptional people leadership skills underpinned by a supportive style and values driven approach.
  • Ability to effectively manage significant resources and budgets.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills.
