    Description

    We are excited to offer you an amazing opportunity as a Dev Ops Engineer to be part of our team at Marlo, the leading independent provider of digital and integration solutions in Australasia.

    We are in search of Dev Ops Engineers to join our team and contribute their Dev Ops expertise to various projects we are currently working on with our clients.

    This role is permanent (though we are open to considering contracting options as well).



    Location:
    Melbourne


    Successful candidates will have outstanding experience in CI/CD, working with different environments and tools, and a solid background in automating processes for successful production delivery and support.

    Responsibilities:

    • Designing and documenting Configuration and Environment services procedures
    • Planning, specifying, and verifying system configurations
    • Identifying, managing, and resolving defects
    • Ensuring completion of all software configuration, environment, and integration activities to the agreed standard

    Qualifications and Experience:
    • 5+ years' IT experience, with significant exposure in Dev Ops or sysadmin roles
    • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT, or related STEM disciplines
    • Experience in establishing SCM/CI/CD from scratch

    Technical Skills:
    • Advanced experience in installing and configuring CI/CD toolsets (Jenkins, Team City, Git Hub, JFrog Artifactory, Bamboo)
    • Advanced knowledge of API's (Jenkins, Springboot)
    • Automated provisioning/config management with Ansible and/or Puppet
    • Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems, preferably Red Hat/Centos
    • Proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk)
    • Administering a Linux environment with 50+ servers
    • Designing, deploying, and supporting Cloud Stack
    • Managing Docker containers
    • Automating processes following the CI/CD methodology
    • Provisioning and configuring resources for managing complex application environments, whether in the cloud or on-premise
    • Implementing and managing orchestration tools
    • Scripting skills in Python, JSON, Ruby, or Shell
    • Using source control tools like Git and/or Mercurial
    • Strong grasp of SDLC (Waterfall, Iterative, and/or Agile methodologies)
