Our team at Indooroopilly are on the lookout for a
Permanent, Part Time Medical Receptionist to join them in providing the best service and care to our patients.


As a
Medical Receptionist you will be providing support to patients, acting as the first point of contact to ensure a smooth experience for their appointments both in person and over the phone.

In addition you will be responsible for managing the booking of appointments through various systems, records management and working with referring medical practitioners.


This is a Permanent, Part Time position working 3 days (~23 hours) per week, across Monday to Friday (8a - 5p).

You will be responsible for all reception duties including:

  • Customer service and care including greeting patients at the front desk, taking, and directing incoming telephone calls
  • Make radiology exam bookings
  • General Clerical Duties
  • Patient record management with exceptional data entry skills
  • Liaising with other receptionist, referring doctors and other medical professionals in a courteous manner
  • Medicare, DVA, Health fund and work cover billing and banking
