The role operates within HSBC Australia's WPB Channel Operations Team, and is essential for the successful and efficient operation of the business, and ongoing implementation of the WPB Strategy for Channels.

The role will operate across all available channels (namely Branch, Direct Channels, Digital, Contect Centre, Premier and Wealth).


Reporting to the Channel Performance and Productivity Lead, you will work closely with our Data and Analytics (D&A) team and Business Leads to drive automation and sales productivity through data.

You will work with complex data utilizing Alteryx and working with D&A and their Google Cloud Platform data sets.

This role has no indirect or direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining Alterxy data flows both in Designer and Server.
  • Scheduling jobs and managing / fixing errors and exceptions.
  • Strong partnering skills to understand and automate manual processes (from mostly Excel to Alteryx workflows).
  • Data visualization skills in both Qlik and Tableau and ability to storytell actionable insights to key stakeholders. Knowledge share and support Alteryx training program across the Group.
Requirements

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Businesss, Computer Science, Maths, Finance or Statistics.
  • Alteryx Core Designer certified.
  • Commercial mindset and Financial Services experience preferred.
  • Strong data analysis and modelling skills.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team and posses good interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn data management principles, and ability to learn leading practice tools to structure unstructured data.
  • Ability to work with diverse range of people.
