Workshop-based role in Perth

Manufacturing highpressure water jetting systems
Experience with pumps and explosion protection

Company Description:

We are a leading manufacturer of high pressure water jetting and pumps, and specialize in explosion protection. Our products are used in a variety of industries including mining, oil and gas, and industrial cleaning. We are currently seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in our workshop in Perth.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and test high pressure water jetting and pump systems in accordance with specifications and standards
Conduct fault diagnosis and repair on pumps, motors, valves and other equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Work with other team members to ensure work is completed to a high standard
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

Trade qualified Fitter with relevant experience
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Experience with high pressure water jetting and pump systems is highly desirable, although any mechanical fixed plant equipment experience acceptable.
Familiarity with explosion protection equipment is a plus
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
