About Our Client:

  • Lead processes involving gathering, verifying, and entering employee time and attendance data.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, commissions, and deductions based on provided data.
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll data and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll checks or electronic transfers to employees.
  • Process and submit payroll taxes and other required deductions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with HR to on board new employees into the payroll system and ensure accurate setup.
  • Maintain and update employee records related to payroll, benefits, and tax with holdings.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and other related matters.
  • Stay uptodate with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Generate payroll reports for management and accounting purposes.
  • Support yearend processes, including preparation of W2 forms and other required documentation.
  • Assist in audits related to payroll, benefits, and tax with holdings.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role, preferably within the HVAC or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
