About Our Client:

- Lead processes involving gathering, verifying, and entering employee time and attendance data.
- Calculate wages, overtime, commissions, and deductions based on provided data.
- Ensure accuracy of payroll data and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
- Prepare and distribute payroll checks or electronic transfers to employees.
- Process and submit payroll taxes and other required deductions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with HR to on board new employees into the payroll system and ensure accurate setup.
- Maintain and update employee records related to payroll, benefits, and tax with holdings.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and other related matters.
- Stay uptodate with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Generate payroll reports for management and accounting purposes.
- Support yearend processes, including preparation of W2 forms and other required documentation.
- Assist in audits related to payroll, benefits, and tax with holdings.
The Successful Applicant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role, preferably within the HVAC or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and systems.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
