The Role

As a Feasibility Planning Manager, you will be accountable for the end to end development of conceptual designs to construction drawings for store flow and layout in refurbishment and new stores, to ensure the right offer is planned to maximise customer experience whilst meeting commercial and business expectations.

You will work cross-functionally and collaboratively to identify the right offer targeted to site specifics, supporting capital approval process and support the end-to-end delivery of projects.

**Key responsibilities: - Working cross functionally to deliver planning and documentation outcomes for all new, replacement, acquisition and extension planning requirements for any store within the State.

  • Develop conceptual plans for new, replacement, acquisition and extension stores pre PCM approval in conjunction Property, ensuring financial viability & construction costs are aligned to launch.
  • Strategic design & layout planning ensuring the best scheme is developed for all project types with both a commercial and customer lens
  • Manage and liaise with external consultants to develop high quality concept plans with a focus on operational and commercial outcomes
  • Be flexible supporting multiple teams in accordance with business needs
  • Support in developing best value scope by participating in store walks

Who we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in retail design and construction methodology
  • Degree in architecture will be well regarded whilst technical architectural drafting or related knowledge/experience is essential
  • Knowledge and capability in architectural drafting software (Revit Preferred)
  • A strong track record in delivering quality outcomes
  • Retail experience will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple demands and conflicting priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise, influence and track delivery of conflicting tasks and activities
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Communication, Negotiation and Influencing skills
  • Demonstrates leadership skills and shows potential to move into future roles
