The role:

To provide high quality horticultural services within the City of Whitehorse in a safe and professional manner.


About you:


  • Knowledge and proven experience operating tractors and other associated machinery and or attachments,
  • Knowledge of the maintenance of a range of horticultural practices General Horticultural knowledge including plant ID, pruning, and weed management techniques.
  • A clear commitment and understanding of Quality and Health, Safety and Environment systems.
  • A Working with Children check
  • Be physically fit to undertake all manual handling operation.
  • An ability to use all required herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and other chemicals in accordance with safe handling procedures.
  • An ability to operate required machinery with work effectively with limited supervision. Proficient in mobility systems required to undertake completion and reporting of customer requests and work orders.
