About the role:


Are you an experienced finance professional with excellent communication skills, enjoy analysing information, a keen eye for detail and proven capability in handling sensitive situations relating to effective debt and revenue collection outcomes? We have a great opportunity for the right individual to join our Expenditure and Revenue Team in the role of Finance Officer - Debtors.

The role will predominately be responsible for debtors, being the first point of contact in debt recovery matters. You will be required to follow up on debt recovery with customers and refer matters to agencies when required. You may also be required to provide backup within your team in the areas of accounts payable.


Duties include:


  • Perform accounts receivable tasks (invoice & maintain debtors, debt collection);
  • Respond to/follow up on debtor enquiries and file/maintain documentation;
  • Reconcile debtor accounts;
  • Refer debts to agencies as required.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have: 1.Degree in Accounting;

  • CPA qualified or currently undertaking CPA studies;
  • Experience in the use of computerised accounting & payroll systems;
  • Sound knowledge of accounting, payroll & debt recovery principles & practices; 5.Accuracy and eye for detail;
  • Class C Motor Vehicle Licence.
