Key Duties for the role

Test Case Development: Develop comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on business requirements and user stories. Ensure that test cases cover all relevant aspects of the Salesforce solution, including customisations and integrations.

UAT Planning and Execution: Planning the execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Salesforce implementations in the education sector.

Defect Management:Identify and document defects discovered during UAT, including steps to reproduce and severity assessments. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.

User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users participating in UAT, including guidance on test execution. Address user questions and concerns related to the Salesforce solution during the execution sessions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, business analysts, and end-users to ensure alignment between UAT activities and project objectives. Communicate UAT findings and progress to project stakeholders.

Test Automation:Utilize test automation tools and techniques to automate repetitive UAT tasks and improve testing efficiency. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UAT scenarios, where applicable.
Essential Criteria
- Undergraduate / Post Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on User Acceptance Top 1-2 Testing (UAT) in the education sector.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM and related technologies.
- Experience in developing and executing test cases for Salesforce implementations, including customizations and integrations.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, such as UIPath.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and document defects accurately.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
