About the opportunity
We're looking for a
Freight Handler to join our diverse, friendly and hard-working StarTrack Wingfield team.

With e-commerce booming, our freight handlers are the folks making sure consignments are correctly loaded so we can get deliveries out to our customers, fast.


This is a permanent part time vacancy working from 4pm-8pm Monday to Friday (20 hours per week) and pays $30.21 per hour + 12% super along with a 17.5% penalty rate for the afternoon shift.


You'll be

  • Using your strong work ethic to help us keep delivering great service
  • Handloading parcels and cartons from conveyor belts into trucks, ready for our drivers to head out on the road
  • Unloading trucks when drivers get back to the warehouse
  • Wrapping freight by hand or using a shrink wrapper (you know like the ones at the airport), electronically scanning parcels and updating documentation.

About you

  • You're fit and can lift at least 30kg repeatedly we assess this at a preemployment medical check to help make sure you're safe on the job
  • You're laser focused, even when the role gets repetitive
  • You're a team player, passionate about helping our team keep the community connected
  • You're also an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • If you've got a forklift licence that's a plus, since this comes handy moving freight around the warehouse
