Our Client

The Opportunity

Ongoing success and a resolute commitment to high professional standards has created an opportunity for our client to engage an Executive Assistant to their CEO.


  • You are experienced in providing high level governance and executivelevel administrative support, ideally within a medical, biotech, academic, or healthcare environment.
  • While many of your responsibilities will focus on supporting and organising activities undertaken by the CEO, you will also work closely with senior managers engaging with the company Board of Directors, overseeing executive outreach campaigns, as well as developing and maintaining friendly, productive business relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • High level administrative and governance support will see you working with the company Secretary and CFO, Board, Executive managers, and other subcommittees.
  • You will schedule, prepare, attend, notetake, and distribute agendas for these meetings, and take actions as required to ensure the smooth running of the office of the CEO in a timely manner.
  • Issues you encounter or become aware of will be raised at the earliest opportunity, and you will ensure that all activities comply with the organisations Quality Management System procedures. Change request processes and CAPA investigations may be required, and you will assist with these as required.

Position Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience providing diversified administrative support with progression of responsibility that extended to Executive Team members.
  • Demonstrable experience in diary management, planning and scheduling, and prioritising competing appointments and meetings.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of consistently providing complete and thorough information in a timely manner to internal and external stakeholders, alike.
  • Positive attitude, proactivity, and a genuine desire to be part of a team who are passionate about working in a way that aligns with the Core Values, Mission and Vision of the company.
  • A background in molecular diagnostics, science, or accounting will be considered advantageous.
