Joining our Bankwest Procurement Team will see you working closely with Bankwest Technology and Commonwealth Bank Technology to ensure that all procurement and partnerships receive our world-class end-to-end delivery experience.

Your responsibilities will be as follows but not limited to:
- Lead and support the proactive review, renewal and monitoring for all existing and new contracts.
- Work closely with end users to understand service demands and constraints for current and new contracts.
- Research and negotiate major organisational contracts and procurements.
- Coordinate the acquisition of goods, materials and services for the organisation.
- Preparing complex purchasing assignments requiring vendor selection and pricing comparisons.
- Negotiate with vendors to obtain optimum quality, cost, terms, etc.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers.
- Ensure that the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concept and approach is embedded across all of the organisation's procurement activities.
- Manage and monitor compliance to internal policies and procedures in relation to procurement and purchasing processes and provide clear advice on contract governance.
- Support the Procurement Manager in the development of continuous improvement programs, both internally and externally, as they relate to efficient and effective procurement best practice.
- Identify and seek value added opportunities and cost savings in the procurement process.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
- Minimum of 3 years within a procurement/contract environment
- Previous IT Procurement experience is desirable but not essential
- A strategic ability to negotiate contracts and identify opportunity for business development
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a natural ability to liaise with vendors and stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive nature and high level of initiative
