Job Description:


  • The Communications Specialist, Transformation Projects, is a new role that has been created to deliver key communication programs and content to support Steelmaking Coal business' strategy, including the key focus areas of safety and sustainability.

Key accountabilities:

  • Development and execution of proactive and effective communication plans to support key business priorities, integrated with the organisation's broader Corporate Communications activities
  • Identify internal communication campaign opportunities and work with the Corporate Communications team to deliver them
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to manage programs of work proactively through effective communication
  • Conduct regular reviews to determine the effectiveness of communication activities and channels

Qualifications:


  • To be successful in this role ideally you will have:
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in internal communications across various stakeholder groups, geographies, and levels
  • Strong stakeholder analysis, engagement, and planning skills
  • Strong attention to detail and writing skills (please note, a writing test will be required as part of the recruitment process)
  • Exposure to mining/heavy industry exposure is favourable
