Job Description:

The Communications Specialist, Transformation Projects, is a new role that has been created to deliver key communication programs and content to support Steelmaking Coal business' strategy, including the key focus areas of safety and sustainability.

Key accountabilities:

Development and execution of proactive and effective communication plans to support key business priorities, integrated with the organisation's broader Corporate Communications activities
Identify internal communication campaign opportunities and work with the Corporate Communications team to deliver them
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to manage programs of work proactively through effective communication
Conduct regular reviews to determine the effectiveness of communication activities and channels

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role ideally you will have:
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
Demonstrated experience in internal communications across various stakeholder groups, geographies, and levels
Strong stakeholder analysis, engagement, and planning skills
Strong attention to detail and writing skills (please note, a writing test will be required as part of the recruitment process)
Exposure to mining/heavy industry exposure is favourable
