The key responsibilities are:


  • Provide system first tier analysis and support for system users and key users within QRO and external partner agencies. You are the first point of contact for all QRO systems incidents and requests for service.
  • Coordinate the provision of system access for users within the organisation and with external partner agencies.
  • Use a service support management tool and follow IT Service Management (ITSM) processes to capture incidents and issues and determine and deliver a solution.
  • Develop and maintain support material for the Service Management team and business users, using QRO's knowledge base and provide advice on training materials and documentation.
  • Perform system testing and support the test team as required.
  • Provide support to business analysts and functional analysts in undertaking analysis, design and implementation of business requirements for system enhancements and modifications.
Monitor the timeliness, completeness and accuracy of periodic batch processing and system performance as required.


To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to facilitate workshops and information sharing sessions.
  • Experience in managing competing deadlines in a highvolume environment, often requiring intraday reprioritisation.
  • Commitment to working independently and showing initiative, as well as being a strong team player.
  • Experience in a revenue and/or government debt collection environment is highly regarded.
  • Experience in the testing lifecycle is highly regarded.
  • Experience in an IT Service Management environment supporting multiple systems is highly regarded.
