Associate Relationship Manager

  • Part time 0.8 FTE, Fixed term position for 12 months
  • Based in Hobart
  • We are seeking to appoint an Associate Relationship Manager in the Tasmania Engagement team, part of the Recruitment and Engagement Portfolio.

The Opportunity


As part of the Tasmania Engagement team, the Associate Relationship Manager plays a critical role in the implementation of the University's Tasmanian student recruitment strategy and assists in achieving domestic student recruitment performance targets through managing a broad range of relationships and activities.

The Associate Relationship Manager will work closely with our external school partners in promoting the opportunities available at the University of Tasmania to students and nurturing them from enquiry to enrolment.

They will also explore opportunities and deliver activities in the Adult Learner market which is an increasingly important audience for the University of Tasmania.

Internally the Associate Relationship Manager will work closely with our Colleges, Marketing, Admissions, Enquiries and Enrolment teams to ensure a seamless experience for our future students.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Under the broad direction of the Manager, Tasmania Future Students undertake recruitment activities and engage with prospective students in new and existing domestic markets.
  • As part of a team, manage relationships with a portfolio of schools and stakeholders to create and grow a pipeline of students, with a core requirement to meet enrolment targets across the portfolio through a range of activities.
  • Support the training and development of student ambassadors and support the management of their presence at recruitment activities.
  • Nurture prospective students through effectively communicating all University offerings and associated elements, including extracurricular opportunities, high achiever programs, scholarships, and accommodation.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders including academic staff, student administration staff, partner agencies and suppliers.
  • Offer administrative support to the Tasmanian Future Students team as required, including the arranging of meetings with internal and external stakeholders, the booking of rooms, minuting meetings and documenting agendas, assisting in the preparation of presentations.

Your Application

  • A qualification in marketing, management, education and experience in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Strong organisation and timemanagement skills, together with a demonstrated ability to work with competing demands, prioritise work tasks, and be flexible in responding to changing work priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as the capacity to work independently with initiative, problem solving ability, and accountability on projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently influence outcomes at all levels of organisations, and liaise with people of various skills, experience and background to achieve winwin outcomes.

Remuneration


Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $99,698 pro rata comprising base salary within the range of $76,302 to $85,212 pro rata plus 17% superannuation.
