The
Educator will be responsible for the Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse) Vocational Education and Training course.

You will manage preparation, delivery and assessment of competency standards as required and thereby ensure an exceptional student learning experience.


Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct competency based student training and assessment, using facetoface, mixedmode, workplace based, external and online delivery methods
  • Delivery of customised training to health partners and organisations onsite
  • Conduct Clinical Placement Facilitation and provision of educational leadership through support to other educators
  • Implementation and demonstration of best practice training methods
  • Independent contribution in teaching and/or research as well as coordination and/or leadership of other staff
  • Contribution to administration requirements and completion of administrative tasks associated with training provision

Your Skills & Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of five years post graduate nursing experience
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • TAE incl. upgrades or resp
  • Demonstrated vocational/academic teaching experience incl. planning, delivery and assessment of clinical skills
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and a student oriented approach
