About the Company:

Our client is a well-known Global Pharmaceutical Company located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. They focus on therapeutic products for the Australian and international market.

Due to substantial growth, they are recruiting for an experienced

Production Operator to work on the day shift (7am - 3:30pm).

This is an ongoing contract role and highly likely to be extended depending on performance.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, mechanically minded individual who is willing to go the extra mile. Strong communication skills are necessary and the ability to pick things up quickly is a must.

As a Production Operator you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing equipment for manufacturing and executing vial washing using automated equipment
  • Mixing, formulating and filling of batches according to SOPs
  • Operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
  • Maintaining and recording manufacturing documentation
  • Manual handling of samples lifting up to 7kg
  • Cleaning of manufacturing environment rooms and equipment
  • Maintaining hygiene standards including gowning (high level) and aseptic techniques
  • Preventative maintenance checks
