The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) has diverse responsibilities for transport systems and services, infrastructure planning and provision within South Australia.

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Services Manager to lead and oversee critical business support functions for the South Australian Public Transport Authority (SAPTA).

The SAPTA Division delivers South Australia's public transport network and services and is responsible for several key future projects, including the transitioning public transport modes toward zero emissions.

As the Business Services Manager for SAPTA you will be responsible for leading an overseeing key business support functions to ensure they remain focussed on strategy and opportunity.

The role will review, develop, implement and improve business processes to enable the senior leadership team to lead effectively and maximise productivity.

Reporting to the Executive Director, SAPTA, the Business Services Manager will drive high level strategies to enable SAPTA to achieve its objectives.

This role is a dual call and is being advertised at the ASO8 and MAS3 classification levels, in which the successful applicant will be appointed at the classification level commensurate with their skills and experience.

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in business related discipline.

Special Conditions
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

Tenure of Vacancy
Temporary appointment up to 12 months with possibility of an extension.

Remuneration
ASO8 - $117,554 to $121,992 per annum
MAS3 - $124,208 per annum
