Our client is an Industry-Leading, Multinational with multiple buildings, grounds and additional commercial and residential sites across Adelaide.

A unique opportunity now presents for a Building Maintenance Supervisor to organise and coordinate various building related projects and maintenance work at our sites.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for a small team of direct personnel, as well as supervising trades on site.

You will undertake administrative assistance, liaise with councils and authorities and conduct general hands-on maintenance work as required.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage and coordinate building related projects
Ensure all projects comply with relevant WHS requirements, building codes, regulations and legislation
Report on project progress and viability, including reporting and review of cost estimates
Liaise with councils for approval process, including compliance for services
Organise suppliers, contractors, subcontractors and maintenance to ensure successful completion of projectsHighly driven with excellent organisation skills and a talent for problemsolving, ideally you will have:
A trade background (carpentry or similar) or formal qualifications in a building or construction discipline
Sound knowledge and understanding of project management and planning principles
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
High level problem solving and analytical skills
Previous experience in general maintenance and break
