Your Key Contribution

  • Reports to the Procurement/Supply Chain Function Leader
  • The role of Purchasing Manager is to lead the purchasing and sourcing team's day to day activities to; achieve their tasks, reach targets, ensure compliance with business policies and procedures, and to deliver improvement activities where required.
  • Participate in development of key performance indicators for the department by delivering company sourcing initiatives, deliverables and meeting projects targets as agreed with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Provide assistance across all levels of the procurement function by continually improving business processes and leading improvements initiatives across Procurement activities.
  • Work closely and strengthen relationships with other operational areas of the business including Production, Logistics, Business Assets and Sales, to ensure integrated flow of product to customer

Some of Your Key Activities

  • Leading a performancedriven culture and a team who collaborate effectively with customers, internal and external stakeholders, maximising customer service levels.
  • Ensuring goods, materials and services are procured in accordance with specified requirements as to quantity and quality, on the due date and at the best price.
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures to maximise productivity.
  • Improvement & development of procurement team operations
  • Set clear expectations, mentor, coach and manage team performance against KPIs.
  • Champion use of company software program for efficient stock management and reporting. Including preparation of data, trends and availability of goods and materials.
  • Develop and uphold KPIs to meet business requirements.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with all staff, clients, suppliers, and transport companies.

Job Types:

Salary:
$100, $115,000.00 per year
