Narrabeen North OOSH is a vibrant childcare center with a welcoming community. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Director to join our team.

This key position in the organisation offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to our educational programs while working closely with our Director to enhance our service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the Director in the educational leader role, planning and implementing innovative educational programs
  • Assist in managing daytoday operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high standard of care
  • Support director and Admin team with staff management and parent communications
  • Actively engage with children and families to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment
  • Supervise and evaluate educators, provide mentoring and training to support and improve their skills

Qualifications

  • A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • First aid and CPR certifications or willing to obtain

Experience

  • 2 years' experience in the industry
  • Demonstrated capability as a leading professional
Experience with XAP software is highly desirable but not essential


Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the 'My time, Our Place' Framework
  • Understanding of Government Regulations such as National Quality Standards (Desired but not essential)
  • Knowledge of software XAP (desired by not essential)

Other

  • Relevant child protection
  • Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
